Samsung Galaxy tab S9 launch postponed to 2023

Every year, Samsung, the second-largest tablet manufacturer in the world, introduces new high-end models. The business introduced the Galaxy Tab S8 series earlier this year, which includes the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. The Galaxy Tab S9 may not, however, go on sale until later in the year.

TheElec reported that Samsung had delayed the creation of the Galaxy Tab S9 series. It implies that the tablet's release has also been postponed. According to reports, the recent global economic slump and a decline in the market for IT products, especially tablets, are to blame for this delay. The work was supposed to begin in December, but it will now not begin until early 2023.

It's possible that Samsung may now introduce the Galaxy Tab S9 series along with the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 in the second half of 2023. There are still three Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra variants in the Galaxy Tab S9 series.

According to market research companies, this year's tablet shipments will be down overall, although sales of premium and ultra-premium tablets may rise. According to DSCC (Display Supply Chain Consultants), premium tablet penetration may increase from 3% in 2021 to 4% in 2022.
