Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 features a smaller crease compared to the Z Fold3
Ice Universe tweeted last month that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 will feature a less pronounced crease compared to its predecessor. Now the leakster has photographic proof -- a side-by-side comparison shot from the same angle.
The crease of the forthcoming foldable flagship actually appears shallower. However, it is not clear how significant the difference will be in real scenarios.
According to leaks, Samsung has tweaked the aspect ratio of the Z Fold4's internal display - it's getting wider and shorter, getting a 6:5 aspect ratio (up from 6.2:5 on the current model). The cover display will also be shorter, with a 23:9 aspect ratio (vs. 24.5:9).
Leaked images suggest a redesigned hinge that will improve the crease condition. The rumoured super-UTG footage might have helped too. Apart from the display changes, the Galaxy Z Fold4 will improve the cameras (50MP main, 12MP 3x telephoto, 12MP ultra wide), a new chipset (Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1) and some iterative improvements.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4 are expected to be uncovered on August 10 (likely with the next-gen Galaxy Watches).
