Security forces arrest female terrorist arms' supplier in Katsina

Aisha Abubakar, a lady, was reportedly detained by security forces in Katsina State for allegedly supplying ammo to militants.

Zagazola Makama, a security analyst and expert in counterinsurgency, reported the occurrence on Monday. Makama claims that the ammo was found when Abubakar's luggage was routinely searched.

“The authorities discovered the ammunition in her luggage during a routine search,” he stated.

At first, the suspect denied having anything to do with the unlawful behaviour. Makama stated that she subsequently acknowledged her involvement in the operation, nevertheless.

“She initially denied involvement but later confessed to be transporting the ammunition to terrorist group from Nassarawa state,” Makama explained.

Additional information regarding the ammunition's intended use came to light during further questioning.

Makama wrote, “During the course of interrogation, the suspect confesses that she was heading to Yan Tumaki in Dan Musa LGA in Katsina state.”
