Security officers arrest three LP coalition officers in Imo
Three Labour Party collation officers were detained by security personnel early on Sunday in Imo State's Isiala Mbano Local Government Area.
The three agents—Egbomuche Nwoke, Bartram Iwuala, and an unidentified third—were detained on Sunday during the collation of results at the Isiala Mbano LGA collation center in Umuelemai.
Police officers drove away with the three LP agents in vehicles, one of which was an Armoured Personnel Carrier.
At the time this report was submitted, the three agents were reportedly deposited at the state command headquarters while the findings were still being tallied.
Several people have seen the development as an attempt to frighten LP and rig the election in the All Progressives Congress' favor.
As of the data collection, Chikwem Onuoha, the Labour Party's candidate for the federal constituency, is in the lead.
The final results compilation was carried out by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
