Shettima returns to Abuja after representing President Tinubu at UNGA
After representing President Bola Tinubu at the just finished 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, Vice President Kashim Shettima of Nigeria is back in Abuja.
Stanley Nkwocha, his publicist, made the announcement of his arrival in a statement on Sunday. The Vice President gave Nigeria's National Statement during the General Debate while he was in New York.
During the General Assembly, he participated in multiple side events and bilateral discussions.
“VP Shettima will proceed to join President Bola Tinubu to mark some events put together as part of activities commemorating Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary,” the statement added.
