Sola Sobowale gets first Bollywood role
One of Nollywood's most influential actresses, Sola Sobowale has taken to social media to announce a major breakthrough in her career as she announced her first Bollywood role.
Popularly known as "Toyin Tomato," the multi-talented screen goddess revealed in a post on her Instagram page that she was headed to India to join record-breaking director Hamisha Daryani Ahuja on her latest project.
The avid 'King of Boys' actress noted that she would be travelling to India to film to play a very dynamic role in the project.
She wrote: “I am so excited to announce that I will be working with record-breaking Director/Exec Producer, @HamishaDaryaniAhuja on her upcoming project! And… get this….we will be going to India to film! I will be playing a very dynamic role in this project and cannot wait for you to watch it.

Sobowale came into the limelight when she appeared in Nigeria's popular TV series Super Story: Oh Father, Oh Daughter.
She is married to Oludotun Sobowale and together they have four children.
In 2019, she received the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) for Best Actress for her role in the 2018 Nigerian film, King of Boys.
