Tecno Camon 19 launches in India: Features and price

Today, the Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G was introduced in India. After the basic and Neo varieties, it is the third addition to the Camon 19 line. The most recent product made its debut in June on international markets, and the Indian version has comparable specifications. 

A mid-range smartphone, the Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G is priced under Rs 22,000 in India. It is in direct competition with products like the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, Realme 9 Pro 5G, OPPO F21 Pro, and others.

The 6.8-inch LCD screen on the Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G features a punch-hole cutout in the centre and thin bezels that measure 0.98mm. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ resolution.

The power button has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into it, and the back panel has conventional circular camera rings.

The Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G comes with three rear cameras for taking pictures. A 64MP primary sensor with OIS capability is combined with 2MP depth and 2MP AI lenses in this combination. There is a 16MP selfie camera on the front.

The Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810. It has a microSD card slot for expansion and 8GB RAM with 128GB of inbuilt storage. In addition, 5GB of virtual RAM is supported. A 5,000mAh battery within the smartphone provides power and supports 33W rapid charging.

The Camon 19 Pro 5G's operating system is Android 12 with an XOS shell on top.

The cost of the Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G is Rs 21,999. It is available on Amazon starting on August 12 in the colours Eco Black and Cedar Green.
