On Friday night, a mob is said to have killed three individuals near the Kara-OPIC bus stop on the Lagos-Ibadan Motorway, and they then set a Hilux Toyota car on fire.

According to reports, three persons were killed and two more were injured when the white Toyota Hilux with the licence plate EPE80J lost control and crashed into onlookers at the bus stop.

This was revealed in a statement provided to journalists on Saturday by Florence Okpe, the spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps' Ogun State Sector Command.

For medical attention, the injured people were reportedly brought to the Lagos Emergency Centre in Ojota.

It was reported that several people claiming to be relatives of the two deceased had claimed their remains for burial at the Kara market.

It was reported that the other body was placed in the Idera Mortuary in Sagamu.
