Three-year-old boy in stolen car found in Lagos
Olamide Taiwo, a three-year-old child, was discovered in Owode-Onirin, Ikorodu, Lagos State on Saturday after being discovered in a car that was reported stolen in the Ikenne region of Ogun State.
According to PUNCH Online, a car in Ikenne that contained a three-year-old boy was taken. Taiwo Fayobi is the owner of the Toyota Camry with registration number PKA 446GV.
Omolola Odutola, a spokesman for the Ogun State police command, clarified that the car's owner, Fayobi, had gone outside to open his gate while the engine was running and the three-year-old kid was inside when the bold robbers got inside and took off with the child.
Odutola gave reporters in Abeokuta an update on the event on Sunday, stating that the youngster had been found by a good Samaritan in Lagos State.
“Olamide Taiwo, the three-year-old boy inside the Toyota Camry stolen by two unknown hoodlums, was found by a Good Samaritan in Owode Onirin Ikorodu with the “Ikenne” tag on him.
“The Good Samaritan immediately called DPO Owode. The red Camry has not been found yet,” she said.
