Tinubu and Adeboye meet over Muslim-Muslim ticket
All Progressive Congress, APC Presidential candidate Bola Tinubu met with Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG General Overseer, Rev. Enoch Adeboye.
Tinubu's meeting with Adeboye is said to have revolved around his decision to settle for a Muslim-Muslim ticket.
According toThisDay Tinubu's meeting with Adeboye took place at Redemption Camp on Sunday.
Among others at the meeting was Tinubu's wife, Senator Oluremi, who is an associate pastor at RCCG.
“He met with Adeboye on Sunday. The meeting was very fruitful. Adeboye is not against a Muslim-Muslim ticket," a source told ThisDay.
However, DAILY POST efforts to confirm the meeting of Tinubu's media adviser Tunde Rahman fell through as he did not respond to a text message sent to him.
Meanwhile, against the noise of several Nigerians, Tinubu had chosen a Muslim from the north.
While some political stakeholders agitated for a Christian, the APC presidential candidate opted for Borno Senator Kashim Shettima.
