Uche Jombo reacts, as rumours spread about Genevieve Nnaji struggling with mental illness
Nollywood actress Uche Jombo has responded to reports circulating online that her friend and colleague Genevieve Nnaji has a mental illness.
A few days ago, Genevieve Nnaji was trending on social media platforms after an anonymous blogger claimed she was crushed due to mental health and admitted to a medical facility in Texas, USA.
Hours after the viral report, Genevieve Nnaji took to her Instagram story to share a video of herself painting an artwork and beaming with smiles.
However, the video used to debunk the rumors drew criticism from many Nigerians, who claimed self-painting was one of the mechanisms in rehab.
In response, a concerned fan who seemed unconvinced decided to reach out to Uche Jombo and urged her to check on Genevieve.
In response, Uche Jombo advised the fan not to believe everything seen online.
The fan wrote: "@uchejombo please check on her and know if she's okay. I know she's your best friend."
