UK-based Nigerian surgeon loses license for giving free Botox in exchange for sex
Oluwafemi "Tijion" Esho, a Nigerian physician working in the United Kingdom, was found guilty of providing free Botox injections in exchange for sex, and as a result, he lost his medical licensure.
The Telegraph claims that Esho admitted to the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service on Monday that he had an unhealthy emotional relationship and had sent "inappropriate" sexual communications to Patient A, a lady patient.
According to the source, Esho is well-known for his medical advice and talks on cosmetic surgery on well-liked television shows, such as This Morning on ITV, Morning Live on the BBC, and Body Fixers on E4.
In addition, he frequently provided advice for Channel 4's Body Fixers, a show that lasted for two seasons in 2016 and 2017 and featured appearances on BBC Morning Live until the summer of 2022.
Esho is the creator of the Esho Clinic, which serves a number of famous people and has locations in Dubai, London, and Liverpool.
According to Vanguard, the 42-year-old cosmetic surgeon denied having sex with the female patient at his Newcastle clinic in 2021 and gave free botox treatments during his appearance before a tribunal in Manchester.
Next Monday, the panel will make public the rationale behind the sentence.
