Vetiva Capital co-founder Olaolu Mudasiru dies in a hit-and-run accident
On Sunday morning, a hit-and-run accident claimed the life of Olaolu Mudasiru, the deputy managing director and co-founder of the investment and asset management company Vetiva Capital Management.
While cycling with two other people on the Bourdilion road in the Ikoyi neighbourhood of Lagos, the co-founder of Vetiva was struck.
The event was confirmed by Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesman for the Lagos police command.
The other two individuals, according to the Police PRO, are "responding to treatment," but no one has been taken into custody in relation to the event.
The previous military governor of Lagos State, Gbolahan Mudasiru, who passed away in 2003, also had a son named Mudasiru.
He saw the passing of his mother Foluke, in 2013.
He held degrees in both investment banking and medicine, according to his profile on the website of his employer.

“He is a Dealing Member of the London Stock Exchange, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Nigeria as well as being a member of the Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria.
“He is also a recipient of the Chevening Scholarship, which is granted to ‘mid-career high flyers’ globally by the British Government.
“Dr. Mudasiru is quite versatile and his 16 years of experience span the spectrum of investment banking covering wealth management, financial intermediation, trading & dealing and executing various transactions in the financial services industry.â€
