WAFCON 2022: Morroco, Senegal, and South Africa qualifies for quarter-finals
South Africa is the third team to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) quarter-finals.
Bayana Bayana defeated Burundi 3-1 in Rabat on Thursday.
With that, South Africa cemented their position at the top of Group C with six points from two games.
Morocco and Senegal are also in the last eight of the tournament.
Both have won their first two games against Uganda and Burkina Faso, the other two teams in Group A.
On Friday, Morocco and Senegal will face off to determine the group winner.
