Wash-a-thon: Enitan says she didn't land in the hospital
Subair Enitan, an Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) student, has refuted rumours that she ended up in a hospital after starting a handwashing marathon in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record.
Enitan acknowledged her school, sponsors, and supporters in a video that was uploaded on the official X handle for the marathon. She also made it clear that she ended up in the hospital.
“First of all, I’m sure you can see I’m very much okay. So to the people trending saying I landed in the hospital. I didn’t land in the hospital and these are my hands. I am better. I’ve been in my house with family members, my team members. I’ve been sleeping. I woke up this evening to take pictures. I have been very fine. Just dey play o. Nothing is wrong with me.â€
Enitan started the marathon on Friday, November 24 and washed for 58 hours, exceeding her initial goal of 50 hours.
Enitan's attempt to break the record has not yet been confirmed by the Guinness World Record.
