WhatsApp introduces new feature that allows users message themselves
Users can now message themselves thanks to a new feature introduced by the instant messaging service WhatsApp.
Message Yourself is the name of the new feature, which will formally launch soon. Users will be able to message their accounts using it.
For communications like to-do lists, reminders, or draft messages that will be sent later, this will be helpful. According to WhatsApp, the function will be made available to users of Android and iOS in the upcoming weeks. Additionally, you can archive and pin the self-chat.
When starting a new chat on WhatsApp, users, according to the Mata-owned platform, will see their contact at the top of the contacts list. They can message themselves using the chat feature by tapping that contact to access it.
Open WhatsApp and start a new chat. Your contact will be listed at the top of the list. Click on your number to initiate a message to yourself. When the app is updated from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store after launch, it will reflect on those stores.
