Xiaomi 13 series unfolds new display design

Recently, Xiaomi officially unveiled the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, a second-generation folding smartphone. There are already rumours circulating about another flagship smartphone from the Chinese company, less than a month after the introduction. Popular Weibo tech blogger @DCS claims that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU will be included in the Xiaomi 13 iterative standard edition. 

Additionally, he discloses that this smartphone would have a 6.36-inch display with a 2.5D flexible screen. Additionally, this display features an ultra-narrow bezel, a single centre punch-hole design, and a high refresh rate of 120Hz.

Most likely, the Xiaomi 13 series' regular model is this one. The @DCS announced that the Xiaomi 13 series will employ a 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate curved screen in July of this year. Additionally, he asserts that BYD makes a ceramic version of the engineering model. 

The Xiaomi 13 series engineering model uses a multi-pole single-cell approach to increase battery life. Additionally, a self-developed fast charging IC allows for 100W quick charging of the battery. Additionally, the series will feature wireless rapid charging at a maximum of 50W.

In late November, the first group of smartphones using Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will go on sale (tentative date). The Xiaomi 13 will undoubtedly be one of the first gadgets to feature this processor, we can be positive about that.
