Xiaomi 13 Ultra might not launch soon as expected

The Xiaomi 13 series of smartphones made their formal debut in China last month. The devices are rumored to make their world debut at MWC next month. While the Xiaomi 13 series now only include the standard Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro, there are also web reports of a Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

Lei Jun, the CEO of Xiaomi, recently affirmed that the company will introduce the Xiaomi 13 Ultra as its primary flagship product for the Chinese and international markets. This sparked a lot of rumors suggesting that the launch would happen during the MWC conference. Digital Chat Station, a well-known tip source, has however provided some inconsistent information.

The OPPO Find X6 and Honor Magic5 series will both be available soon after Chinese New Year, according to Digital Chat Station. The 22nd of January is the Chinese New Year. Both lines should make their debut in the middle to end of February, given the length of the festivities. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra won't go on sale until later, however, according to the leaker.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is unlikely to be unveiled at MWC, which begins in late February. However, the premium Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro gadgets' global rollout has been verified. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra may be prepared for a release in Xiaomi's domestic market as early as March, if reports published on Chinese websites are to be trusted.
