Salisu Musa Tsafe Kainuwa, the Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, will oversee the program.
The ministry claims that 2,261 beneficiaries will be distributed among the state's 14 local government areas, with Gusau, the state capital, receiving 4,522 beneficiaries.
In an effort to guaranty inclusivity, the ministry added that the program would make accommodations for people with disabilities.
It further stated that Governor Dauda Lawal approved the program to increase locals' access to investment opportunities and foster financial independence.
