Zenith bank promotes more than 4,000 employees
According to people acquainted with the situation, Zenith Bank, one of the largest lenders in Nigeria, has promoted 4,165 workers as part of a significant restructuring initiative meant to maximise its staff and reward success, according to The PUNCH.
In the upcoming weeks, more promotions are anticipated, subject to Central Bank of Nigeria permission.
Since it is typical practice for major staff changes within a regulated financial institution, this approval may be connected to larger restructuring plans or changes to the bank's organisational structure.
The promotions, which were given out between last Friday and Monday, honour exceptional work while attending to organisational requirements.
The tier one lender raised salaries significantly in January, concentrating on lower-level employees and lowering the requirements for promotions and pay raises.
